Introductory Call (15 minutes)
I offer a brief, no-charge call to discuss the general nature of your matter and determine whether my office is a good fit. This call is intended as an introduction and may include a high-level overview of your situation and my approach.
It does not involve case-specific legal advice or detailed analysis, which are reserved for a scheduled consultation.
Introductory calls are conducted by telephone or video conference.
In appropriate cases, the call may also include a brief discussion of fees and next steps toward representation, including the presentation of a Representation Agreement.

One-Hour Consultation
For a more detailed discussion, I offer a one-hour consultation where I can review the facts of your situation, provide legal analysis, and develop potential strategies and next steps. This consultation is designed as a focused working session to evaluate your matter and outline a practical path forward.
At the conclusion of the meeting, I will discuss whether ongoing representation is appropriate and, if so, the next steps.
The consultation is billed at my typical hourly rate, which is reflected in my scheduling link.
Consultations may be conducted in person at my office, by telephone, or by video conference, based on your preference.

To help you get the most value out of the meeting, please email a brief summary of your legal concerns and key facts in advance, along with any particularly important or relevant documents. There is no need to provide extensive materials at this stage.

Representation
Following the consultation, if we mutually agree to proceed with representation, most matters are handled on an hourly basis, and a retainer is generally required to begin work.
Ongoing representation is governed by a written Representation Agreement, which I will provide if we proceed. Some clients elect to limit the engagement to the consultation only, which is perfectly acceptable.
